In the Joseon era, in a small village, an herbalist named Keunnomi dreamed of marrying his childhood friend, Okboon.

But because of the harshness of life, he kept postponing marriage even though he was of age. One day, he discovered a place where the rare and expensive herb Resurrection Grass grew.

Hoping to make a fortune with this herb and finally achieve his dream of marriage, Keunnomi hurriedly set out — only to fall off a cliff and face death.
