FL jealousy is clounding her judgment, I don't blame her, it's understable.

Last chapter we got her realization that even with her talents the only reason she’s in her position rn is because she’s the mistress. So even though the count is acknowledging her it’s still packaged in with her continuing to be a mistress. She never planned on staying a mistress forever and it’s not like she’s against working hard so I get why such an offer would piss her off.

Count might be genuine but I get why she was upset. After all that hard work she was still reduced to being ML's mistress.

She's trying her best and some of y'all forget she has an inmate arrogance, it isn't a bad thing it's a pride thing. She knows at times what she is worth and accurately analyzed the pros and cons of if she should become an official mistress and not. Her dignity won't let her currently nor is it something we as readers can see the ML wants either. They are still very much in their small game of chasing and it's extremely interesting to see how they both know the circumstances and act accordingly

The FL is really dumb sometime. There was so reason to act so arrogant when the count’s proposal would have been so beneficial regarsing her situation. I mean by that she could have gained some support and protection and also the position of mistress is advantegeous in a way, I mean she basically is doing that. But in her situation I would consider every option not act all highfy and mighty and insult the count when he cares about her, especially since he is one of the fewest people who understand her talent
